I lost my hair when I was 15 years old and I didn't understand why it happened to me. Being a teenage girl without hair was hard. During high school I was always the one getting made fun of, and to tell the truth I tried killing myself. I'm now 22 years old and I don't mind that I do not have my hair. Yes it is hard to deal with but it can make you a better person. I have a boyfriend that loves me and we have been together for a year now, and we are really happy together. I know at first when your hair starts to fall out its hard to handle, but it did change my life.

Good for you Jessica, I believe people who go through this at a young age have it tougher, but then come out better off in the long run as better people.
