Morning everyone! I've worn wigs for 10 years or so. I typically wear Human Hair, Mostly Follea Gripper Lite and I have one Style/Rene. I do have One I-wig. (They're Terrible!) I do not like the cap construction at all! Fades terribly and when you pull the hair back out of your face the cap/wefting shows! The cap is baggy and too stretch! If you pull your hair back in a pony tail it lifts!

Any suggestions on amazing Human hair wigs? I know Follea but what else? Anyone tried Lusta or Silk or Lace? Milano?...

Thank you for any suggestion and experiences you've had!

I agree that M/C Wigs or Milano make great wigs! I wait for sales and have mine custom made w/ silicone and I also get a small cap. Some of mine are 10 years old and still wearable. I also have gotten a refurbished, also good. BTW, I have been wearing wigs for more than 30 years and co-founded Stanford Wig Bank, which prior to COVID gave out wigs to chemo women patients. Wishing you luck… it can be so frustrating, not to  mention
expensive.

If you prefer human hair wigs, I recommend Wavymy Hair and Wigfever, these two brands only produce 100% virgin human hair wigs. There are many styles available at an affordable price.

Freedom Hair for sure. I have been wearing them for 7 years and I love them.20250622_145427.jpg

The problem with Freedom is the price. Maybe it's not that expensive in your country, but in my case, the price is eight times my monthly salary. For me, it's a luxury item.

That sounds very expensive. I get a 10 inch one that costs $3,400 New Zealand dollars. I only have to go to the hairdresser once to get her cut and coloured and then maybe once a year for a colour refresh. I also barely buy shampoo or conditioner, because with wiping out the cap every night, I very rarely wash the hair itself as it doesn't get sweaty.

I live in Southern Europe. The budget for a 10 cm wig, including taxes, etc.,
was almost 4,000 euros. For me, that's a fortune...

Yes that is a ridiculous price. Mine is 10 inches, which is 25cm.

Sorry! 10 inches!

In any case, that's too much money for me.

I just bought a piece from Daniel Alain out of California. It's 100 % human hair, cuticle intact and naturally curly. I've had it highlighted and cut and it is gorgeous. Peggy Knight USED to sell these pieces but no longer does.  This has a lace front and has been fitted to my head. I did not have to go to California. I shopped with a rep over face time and picked this one. Then it was sent to me to look at and show them what I needed. All I need was a smaller cap, which they did. It fits like a glove.

I used to wear FREEDOM wigs, but I got too hot too often. The cap on my new piece is all hand tied and has a section of the top that looks like your scalp. You can part it anyway you want. FREEDOM wigs back in the day were about $5,000.  This Daniel Alain was $6,000.  Worth every penny and I take really good care of my piece and expect it to last several years. I will attempt to post a photo...

Here are two photos of my Daniel Alain piece
