Hi, all! This is a warning about Halowigs.com! DO NOT order from this company! They are a shady Chinese online business. My 6 year old granddaughter has AU, but this is about my daughter (my babygirl's Mama). She had a bi-lateral mastectomy at the end of December. She will begin chemo on Feb. 10th - and will lose her hair. She was so despondent, that I ordered a wig she liked from Halowigs.com. There were red flags all over this website, but I so wanted to lift her spirits, that I took the chance anyway. Big mistake. Wig arrived. It was WAY too small (nowhere near the size large we ordered), looked nothing like what was shown on the website, and was of inferior quality (to say the least). Their return policy states that you must obtain approval for returns/refunds. Well, after many emails (email is the only way to contact customer service - red flag #1), we have gotten nowhere. All their responses have been in broken (sometimes nonsensical) English. First, they requested photos. She put the wig on a stand, measured it and took a picture showing the far too small measurement. They then suggested taking it to a stylist. Like styling will make the wig bigger?? They then put an ominous spin on the extreme cost of international shipping and taxes (taxes?), and eventually offered a 20% refund (to "save us the time, energy and expense of return shipping"). I have put in a dispute claim with my charge card company. I was trying to bring a little happiness to my daughter during this trying time, instead it only brought her more stress. So upsetting....
