Hello everyone.. My Daughter had Alopecia Areata  back when she was in I would say 2and and 3rd grade. At that point we had tried every prescription possible. The last option our Dr offered us was having my daughter receive injections with in her scalp. =( At that age, I did not want her to go threw it.

Right before that the Dermatologist gave up this like foamy steroid (kinda like a moose) that I would rub in to her scalp 3 times a day. About 2 to 3 weeks later, we seen lil baby hairs!! KK my daughter was so thrilled. By this time her head was like a soccer ball. But KK never let it get to her =)

Fast forward to today! KK has not has any problems since with Alopecia, If anything her hair just takes a REALLY REALLY long time to grow, and it very brittle. About 3 weeks ago, we started to notice KKS right eyebrow thinning. As time went by, it is not almost 80% gone! I decided to check her hair again and found to little spots again of Alopecia. KK is now 12 and she is getting depressed about her looks (Due to her eyebrow) I really want to help my KK out.  =/

Is it normal to come back? Is there an over the counter remedie I can try? I made an apt, with Derm but of course I have to go through Primary first which will then take me into end of January =(

Please help! I would really appreciate any information and or suggestions!

Thank you so much!
