Can I get a hair cut?
That sounds silly to even type but I found my first bald spot in December, and in the last 3 weeks have discovered 4 more. My hair seems to be shedding so rapidly it is terrifying me. I have barely even been brushing it because I am losing so much. If I part it carefully I can currently cover everything up but not sure how much longer.
I have hair past my shoulders and my one year old is constantly grabbing my hair and playing with it. It makes me anxious as he is pulling out even more hair! Thinking of getting it cut much shorter but am worried - will they brush and style the rest of my hair off?? I think the question sounds crazy, but could they?
Thanks for any insight. I feel so anxious these days with so many new patches appearing.

Yes it does suck!! Thanks for your reply Netherlandsgirl. I just had to take a shower and brush my hair, a task I now dread and the sink was FULL of hair. It is so depressing. I think my little comb over in the front will not hide it much longer either. I am trying a different doctor next week so hopefully that could help...I don't know.
What did you try to cover it up with?

Thanks Jane. I go an see a dr who I think specializes in alopecia on Tuesday. I just hope hair will hold out until then!!! I have not even been brushing my hair in case that helps (which is so silly I know) but the truth is it is still coming out rapidly so clearly it doesn't matter. Tomorrow I will go back to making the hair that remains look good. This whole thing is so frustrating, terrifying and annoying!! I looked into toppik and am thinking I may order that....glad you found a nice cap. :) Thanks for the replies, I appreciate it.
