Hi Dan

I live in New Zealand so have not had the opportunity to take my daughter to any of the conferences or camps available. I have personally attended the Naaf conference on two occassions and I believe the benefits for children to get together there are great. It is one of the favourite things to see (all the kids smiling and relaxed - they are the majority at those times and you can see there comfort levels are right up there). The feedback I have read about CAP is pretty amazing as well. I think all who attend have a wonderful time, making lifelong friendships etc. They are well run, caring places where your daughter will have the chance to learn and grow, as you will as well.

With my daughter I was very fortunate to have the opportunity to introduce her to many people dealing with alopecia in New Zealand. This has been a wonderful circumstance for her over the years. She has never felt odd or alone with this condition. She has seen many with alopecia living full, rounded, successful lifes and for me this has been extremely important in her overall acceptance of what this condition means to her and her life.

I think the CAP camp is well worth attending and you and your daughter will have the best time.
