Hi, I have AA and doing cortisone injections. I want to stop and have a baby. Do i need to wait for some time before or do it right after I stop. My doctor said no need to wait, my GYn said wait for 3 month. Who had something similar? Thank you!
I'm not writing about experience, but I'm familiar with the topic. From what I understand, you are completely safe to get pregnant after you stop as the injection is most likely only in your adrenal gland. Actually, I know some women who have taken this injection during pregnancy, and it has not affected the baby. (I wouldn't recommend that at all, but it is possible to do).
However, if you have been taking it for a long time or think you have larger amounts of cortisone flowing throughout your body, then it could get into the fetus as well. While most say that it doesn't affect the baby, it is better to play it safe. :)

Hi. I was also advised by my OB's office to not get kenalog injections while trying to get pregnant. My dermatologist said that the dosage is very low risk and didn't seem concerned but I opted not to get the injections right before and during my pregnancy. I waited 2 - 3 months from the last injections before trying to get pregnant. Good Luck!
