Cortisone shots

Does any body know if cortisone shots cause diabetes?

Also I want to know if any one experienced hair regrowth by injecting hormones please? ... Wondering if the treatment is safe to do on the eyebrows and scalp. Going to the dermatologist for the treatments and my hair is suppose to grow back.. I'm trying cortisone shots right now for my alopecia. I don't know when my hair's going to grow back....

Hi I am alopecia since April 2009 , 4 yrs, I did an entire year of the shots and may I say them made me ill....... no hair regrowth, I have patches and depending on life they fall out on and off again.
nothing to even say , they dont get longer than 1/4 centimetere not even enough to grab, so I normally just keep it shaved , every now and then I let it go for several months in the hopes that maybe, just maybe.....but nooooooooooooo not long enough ever.....still too many bald patches....

I dont do the shots anymore......less drugs for my body...

These did not help me at all. They caused scarring on my once perfect scalp. After 3 rounds I had about 40 divots in my scalp. I never went back after that.

My son has had these injections and they have proved very effective - no dents or bad side effects on his scalp at all.  The dermatologist is very careful to only inject a controlled amount at 8 week intervals.
