Living with AA has been a challenge and a humbling experience. Next friday will mark the 1 year anniversary since my 1st & only car accident. I wasn't hurt physically but psychologically. On top of that i was struggling with my 1st semester of college. After the accident i lost all motivation to continue school. I felt so depressed that i didn't even want to cut my hair. So i let it grow out from the day of my accident (11/9/11) until end of Jan/ begin. of Feb 2012. After my 1st haircut in about 1 1/2-2 months, My step brother was 1 of the 1st people to notice a coin size patch on the back of my head. Initially i thought it was my barbers mistake. Fast foward to today, The patch has yet to grow. I have atleast 2 more noticeable patches on my head with hair loss in mustache, eye lashes, and beard. I'm coping better with the AA more then i ever have... But just for an opinion does anyone think my accident and depression could of triggered it?

Sure. The accident caused stress and likely the hair to fall out.
