Just wanted to share this with everyone. I noticed a coworker yesterday during thanksgiving sale/Black Friday at Macy's she had a bald patch. I actually got happy and excited to know that she looks to have what seems to be Alopecia Aretea. I didn't get the courage to ask her since there was lots of people in the break room. And I didn't mention it to anyone. So I ask you if your reading this, what have been your experiences so far during this journey ?

since we all know how scary losing your hair can be, i think that she would be happy to know that she isn't alone.  maybe you can meet for lunch and talk about it.  do you wear a wig or do you go au natural?  if you wear a wig, she might not know that you have alopecia too.  for me, i find it easier to deal knowing that i am not alone.  that's my advice,  take it as you will.

Actually, I have 3 patches,( one which has grown out and it's probably 3inches now) and the other two are bald and there are located towards the bottom back of my head where it's not seen. So I have about 95% of my hair.

you're really lucky!!

I just wanted to add that I just got diagnosed this year.. So very new to me and not to mention I had the last two patches before preparing for my sisters wedding!!
