Does anyone have any experience with Cyberhair from the company Amy's Presence. I wonder how much it costs and if it is truely even better than the real thing? The hair of the new millenium or just another gimmick?? I have been largely unsatisfied with all the wigs I've tried so far and refuse to live my life bald. It just wouldn't feel like me. Could this be the answer? I

Dominique,

I've got experience with the Amy's Presence Cyberhair wigs, some of which is good and some of which is bad.

The good part is the fiber is wonderful, it absorbes water like human hair, won't fade and is very soft.

The bad news...the price is sky high at around $2,000.00. My first piece lasted me over a year, my second piece was a disastor (but only because my local dealer screwed up my order), I ended up returning the second piece, and got some, but not all of my money back. My third piece I ordered from a dealer on the otherside of the county....she is wonderful and got the color and cut right...but now after having the piece for only six months the cap is falling apart and I can no longer wear it. I'm waiting to hear if the manufactor will make some type of ammends.

So the bottom line is...love the product, but I can't afford $2000.00 every six months! You hear of very many folks who have them, and I think that's telling as well.

Thanks for sharing your experience Carolyn! I do have a few more questions: Does the cap really stay on as well as they claim it does? Can you really swim, exercize, get intimate, and sleep with no chance of the wig falling off? Do you need to be completely bald to obtain the secure fit?
The cap does fit very well...they come in different sizes, so that helps. They sell a "contact film" which is wig tape, that holds very very well. I only used it though for swimming. I've worn the wig when I had about 70% regrowth...and it was still fine. The tape goes at the ear tabs, the nape of the neck and the hair line.
