depo provera and AU anybody?

Has anyone ever had AU and their hair grew back? I went on Depo provera and shortly after had total loss of hair. I'm fairly certain sit was the medication considering it's hormonal and hairloss is a side effect. I had had AA for 17 years so I believe the meds triggered it. Just curious if anyone had a similar experience and had their hair regrow. Thanks.
