Dermatologist appointment today at the Mayo Clinic in Scottsdale, Az

So here's the latest... After 2 dermatologists in Arizona both said I have Alopecia Areata, I was told to go to the Mayo clinic. I went today and the head doctor and pathologist said I do NOT have alopecia. He said he is sure it is TE caused from the surgeries I had and being anemic. I am so confused. If he can't help me who can? What doctor do I believe?

Hi I am sorry your confused on who to believe.   I had major surgery then a year later alopecia areata...and still do 5 years later.  if it is patchy and circles here and there, I tend to go with the alopecia one. .......

what is TE  never heard of that?
