I remember when I first lost most of my hair and this went on for months.   Then someone told me about a dermatologist who could treat it.   It involved giving me shots in my scalp.   In my case, it left my scalp tingling.    The pain was temporary.   Then I went on a vacation.   Several days went by and then one day I noticed that I didn't have any bald spots anymore and looked like a normal person.   

I had these shots several times over the years and had remissions.    Then one day, on a follow-up visit to my dermatologist, he found no re-growth and was upset by this.    I learned that as soon as the shots stop working that they'll never work again.    

I was wondering if anyone here gets these.   Have you ever had it when 100% of your hair was gone from your head?
