Heres a link for information about Biotin:

If you have a biotin deficiency, you might want to try a low oxalate diet. Oxalates hamper biotin dependent enzymes and biotin supplements can't fully reverse this problem unless going on a low oxalate diet.

This diet has been connected with lowering your chances for kidney stones, but there is a lot more information regarding the diet coming from the autism community. Also, there is a yahoogroup that has an extensive list of foods containing oxalates.
