i have been told this is what i have no biopsy offerd to confirm though.I have suffered for almost six years constant falling out growing bak

But what is the point to spend all the money for tests just to give it a name. It is what it is. The tests and the name is not going to give you your hair back. It is not going to change the situation. I had a slew of blood tests, and nothing conclusive...just a huge lab bill. I come to my own conclusion of what it is, and I alone have to come to terms with it, and live with it, and make the decisions involving it. Good luck. I wouldn't have someone make a sore on my head and saddle me with some huge bill, for what?

Hi lexi, seen alot of dermatologists and the last one said the only way to treat it is to get the correct diagnose"s.My hair is thinned out all over the head as well as facial hair and eyebrows.I have had loads of blood tests which all show nothing wrong. Was told that if it is diffuse alopecia artera it could be treated with steroid injections

Well, I guess if one wants to go through the pain, money and hassel of getting injections in their head....in hopes that something will grow, I guess that is fine with me. Does anybody or should I say do most people gain any appreciable results with shots? Is that cortisone steriods injected in your head good for you? I doubt that it is. Will it grow all your hair back? I doubt that. Drs. just profit.
