Does anyone have these? I think I might have came across a possible cure

So just out of curiosity does anyone here happen to have asthma or seasonal allergies? I've had AU for about 5 years now and I didn't really care too much about the disease after the first year. I do however also have severe seasonal allergies and after moving to a more rural area I had to resort to visiting an allergist to find a better solution than over the counter antihistamines. The allergist put me on a treatment where I would be given injections of what I'm allergic to in small doses twice weekly and gradually work my way up to more potent doses. This is to treat my allergies at the source by having my immune system learn to react properly when I come in contact with what I'm allergic to. In a sense this method is correcting my immune system. So far I'm not done with the treatment but I noticed something weird. To my surprise it seems as though my hair is growing back. So far it isn't anything too significant but I have strands of hair growing out in all part of my body. This is actually my second time undergoing this treatment. The first time was around this time in 2016 and back then my hair began growing back while on this treatment but I stopped half way because I wanted to determine whether or not the regrowth was because of the allergy shots. after I stopped the treatment the hairs that began to grow in fell out. I am now undergoing the treatment and my hair is growing back again. Right now it's just strands here and there but last year I had a big thick patch and this time around I intend to go through the entire course of the injections. I'll try to document my progress by posting pictures as the hair begins to grow. My theory is that since the treatment fixes your immune system by proxy it is fixing the alopecia. I have asthma and a ton of allergies, seasonal and otherwise (food, antibiotics, cats, trees) and have had most of them for the majority of my life but my hair only started falling out a few months ago. I've been having Pollinex-R shots for a severe Ragweed allergy every June (course of 4) for over five years and haven't noticed any correlation with my hair in the past. I'll be getting the shots again soon but since I'm also now on Clobex and have had steroid shots with more scheduled in not long even if my hair starts to regrow in earnest I won't be able to say exactly what provoked it.

But hey, if allergy shots are working for you that's great. I was actually diagnosed with a hair allergy in early childhood and am curious how that might figure in to my current alopecia but it's a mystery why it would only fall out now, at 48 years old.

Just to add, you've probably read online that DPCP immunotherapy has been combined with oral Fexofenadine (Allegra) with some successful results for alopecia sufferers. Interesting in terms of your own experiences with allergy treatment of a different sort.

not the first time I hear this. fixing immune system with drug allergies resulted in hair growth.
I have seasonal allergies too. but guess what? on xeljanz my allergies are almost gone! no trouble breathing anymore, eyes itching, ...

but what does happen when u finish the treatment? I don't think these treatments are permanent... so how could u avoid a relapse?

good job on this one. I hope a cure/treatment for everyone!

oh shit!

That's awesome and it doesn't seem harmful like some of the other methods.

Forskolin could be a possible cure for you. It helps me with asthma a lot and with excessive weight as well. Check it out here dr-forskolin.com. Hope it helps.

Good for you, bruh! I've got this back when I was in college, always using this website here . Also I'd like to know how do you guys cope with it on a daily basis?
