Does dyeing your hair really effect AA? (Sorry if this has been asked a million times before, I'm new!)

Firstly, I'd like to apologise if this has been asked a lot. I'm new to this site, and new to AA.

Searching the net seems to bring up very little about AA, other than the same old stuff. I'm actually quite shocked to see just how little help there is out there for people who are suffering from, what I think, is such a hard thing to tackle, physically and mentally.

So after trying out several different hair styles, and my old hair dye looking pretty worse for ware, I'd really like some help from people who have experienced dyeing their hair with AA. Pro's and Con's all welcome please!

From the information I have read dyeing your hair shouldn't effect your AA (I mean whether the hair is coming or going).

If you are trying to dye vellus hair (very blonde white hair) I don't believe you will get a good response to the dye.  Often that type of hair will not hold the colour.

The rest of your hair should behave as it has behaved when you have coloured it before.

Rosy

Thanks Rosy. I dyed it and it doesn't seem to have caused any type of reaction. Although, I do have a bit of hair growing back that is darker than all my other hair, I guess I'll have to go darker when the time comes! Thanks for your help.

Summer

I can't see how.
