Hello,

I have several wigs that I'd like to donate to help with cancer or alopecia.  Does anyone know of a place where I can drop off or send these wigs?  I'm in the Chicago area.  Thanks!

Hi Aimee - I started wearing wigs a few months ago (I bought several) and have now decided which ones I'd like to keep and which ones aren't really for me.  I had been wearing a bonded system through a hair club for over 8 years and just couldn't afford it anymore. I am pretty thin on top, so I want to purchase a topper and see how that goes too.  But the couple of wigs that I have that just "aren't me" should go to people that can use them.  I don't want them sitting here in a drawer if I'm not going to use them.  I wish I could grow my hair back! Now that the bonded system isn't in place anymore (and how good can that be for your scalp?), I am going to continue to monitor growth, but I don't expect to have a full head of hair anymore :-(    There are several hospitals in my area - I am going to contact them to see if I can donate them there, so thank you!!
