Well few days ago there was an incident where my wig flew off my head because of the strong wind. It was in the port where I work as a tour guide. Luckily it went under the bus and as far as I Know only one person saw it happening, Needles to say came home from work in tears.

I'm sorry that happened. I think we all feel that everyone is paying close attention to us but in reality we're all paying attention to ourselves. The person who saw it probably forgot about it after a minute or two - lost in thoughts about him/herself.
I am sorry that this happened to you. I believe the person who saw it actually did not care much about it. It is like Fanny wrote.
Sorry that happened but know you're not alone!
Even when you're comfortable bald taking a wig off in public would be like taking off my bra. No one should see it happening even if I choose to go without!
Yep,
Today, i was in the gym, and trying out a new lace front. It looked really nice with the ability to tie it up in a ponytail. Well, because it's mainly straight hair, and layered, i kept having to retie my hair with a scrunchie.
I was just finishing up my workout when i felt a distinct "snap" and this release all over my head. The hooks had unhooked from the wig, and i felt something on my neck. it was the hooks just dangling down my neck in the back.
I immediately went into the bathroom, and realized, i can't take wig off because it was glued in the front. Since i was finished with my workout anyway, i brushed the wig out to cover the dangling hooks, and made it out to the car.
Another gym embarrassment was the "glue" that i use for my lacefront. it's called Got2Bglue ultra hold. I use it mainly because i am allergic to lacefront adhesives. Great stuff, water soluble, but there's a draw back to it.
when you sweat, it turns white. I was on the treadmill, and this guy was about 3 treadmills away, and kept staring at my head.
I wondered what the hell his problem was. I gave him a stare back, and he would look away, but as sure as i would check to see if he was looking, There he was STARING again.
I wiped my hairline because it was sweaty. I was wearing a black sweat shirt, and all of a sudden, i have this white smear all the way down my sleeve. I was wearing a black sweat shirt. So i had this long white stripe down my arm. This is GLUE folks, so it didn't wipe off easily. I couldn't believe what i was seeing, so i got off the treadmill, went in to the ladies room and looked in the mirror.
My whole hairline where the glue was - was a very bright white. And here it was, i had walked through the gym with my hairline glowing like a white fluorescent bulb all the way to the ladies room. I grabbed a white towel and wiped off the glue, found another treadmill down wind from the guy, and commenced running again, like nobody's business.
