Has anyone purchased a custom or regular erica Luxemborg wig, the iWig. They look like nice wigs.

Hi Michele,
I've worn IWigs from Erica occasionally, especially for golf (when not wearing my Freedom Hair wig). They're really beautiful - well made, great hair (either processed or non-processed), and they can size the wigs to your own head. I think you'll be very pleased with them. Good luck,
Rose

I'm educating myself about wigs. I have contacted Freedom Wigs also. Why do you like the Erica wig for golf versus Freedom? Which one would you say is more cooler and comfortable. I do a lot of outdoors activities, like ride a motorcycle. I don't know what I will do about that one while wearing a helmet. Which one would you say is better for outdoors? Have you ever tried the Follea gripper? Thanks for your feedback Rose.

Hi Michelle

I'm sure the Freedom Wig IA you contacted will be able to give you any information you may need about Freedom Wigs.

I would also like to add a little - hotness/coolness is something that is very subjective with all wig wearing. There are thousands of people around the world wearing Freedom Wigs and they live their lives using their Freedom Wig to achieve the comfort and flexibility that this wig requires. If you contact Debbi Fuller - (she rides her Harley and doesn't have a problem with her Freedom Wig). Karen Peterik, has been a aerobics instructor and now enjoys Yoga regularly wearing her Freedom Wig (see picture below). My daughter never finds her wig hot or uncomfortable. She is 21 and lives a lifestyle that suits that age group. :)

The Freedom Cap is made with a medical grade silicone which is water vapour permeable. This means that the perspiration that naturally occurs with everyday living is able to pass through a Freedom Cap. This keeps the wearer comfortable while keeping the hair clean and dry. You really can do most things wearing a Freedom Wig, it is really up to the wearer as to their lifestyle etc. Hope this helps with your enquiry.

Hi Michele,
Sorry that I didn't fully explain why I sometimes wear the IWig for golf - it's to avoid unnecessary sun on my Freedom Hair wig. Nothing to do with heat as they are remarkably comfortable & secure. As Rose Marie stated in her reply, Debbi Fuller rides her Harley with her FH wig. Contact her about this - she's great.

Rose, did you order your I-wig online? If so, did you do the custom where you have to do all the measurements. I'm worried about getting the measurements correct and being stuck with a wig that does not fit properly. They really sound nice, I'm very interested in them.

Michele,
After talking with IWig, I did do the measurements of my scalp by having a friend help out. They have a form on their site to guide you in where/how to measure. Suggest you talk with them about your options etc. They're very helpful. Let me know what happens after you've talked with them. Good luck.
Rose
