Erica luxembourg?

hi everyone, I was just wondering if anyone has ever heard of or purchased a wig from the Iwig Collection by Erica Luxembourg? Ive been looking into buying a human hair wig, and the ones on her website, iwig.com look really nice. I don't mind that they are on the pricy side, as long as they are quality. I am going tomorrow to her boutique in brooklyn, so i am hoping that I will find something that I really like! But again, if anyone has any information or comments about these wigs, i'd love to hear :) thanks!

I wear them. She has expanded her line this year and has more price points ( lower) than on the website. You can email me for a discount code.

She goes way out for her clients on customer service.

Hi Thea,
I noticed that you said you wear iWigs... I just got one and it had extra mesh on the front --- past the hairline. Is this typical for iWigs? Do you cut it off? Any help is much appreciated.

Yes, the lace mesh is there so the frontal baby hairs could be knotted into it. Take a pair of sharp, tiny pointed scissors and cut the lace back to the baby hairs. Some people like to glue that mesh down to their skin, but depending on your hair style it's usually not necessary to do that. It is fragile, though, so if you do want to wear your style off your face and you do use lace glue, the lace and the baby hair will need replacing from time to time. It's not a big deal and not a big job, but have a back up wig if you have that work done.

Nope, I didn't end up going to her boutique, I bought a wig from Designs by Flora instead.
