Eye Liner: Liquid or Pencil??

I was just wondering about Eye Liner Pencil. I'm losing my eyelashes and must have eyeliner pencil on all the time, so what do you use? I use a pencil Maybeline and it comes off quickly and I'm always re-applying constantly. I used liquid in my earlier years but remember vaguely that one irritated my eyes, so if you use Liquid, which kind is best? Waterproof? No smudges?

I agree withe Welshcakes, my daughter and I use the Bobbi Brown eyeliner gels and they are great. When I was at the conference I bought eyeliner Gels from Cheryn - they are working well also for my daughter. Another great place to look is Karen Peteriks website (newlifehair), she has some great make-up tips.

Anna Fitzpatrick (I think) likes to use the MAC liquid eyeliner. She is on this site so pop into her page as she always looks gorgeous as well.
