Wouldn't it just be the cost of a doctor's visit? Not sure if this happens to everyone but I now have dells along my brows as the injections took away collagen and it looks very odd. In fact, I am planning to see a dermatologist about having them filled back in. Oh, and they didn't work. The hair is still missing.
Should be the price of a doctor's visit. Be sure to go to someone who does them frequently. The eyebrow technique described in the JAAD, February 2010, Drs. McElee and Shapiro et :

2.5 mg/mL can be used (0.5 mL to each eyebrow).
Every 4 to 6 weeks, triamicinolone acetinoide is
injected intradermally with a 0.5-in long 30-gauge
needle as multiple 0.1-mL injections at 1-cm intervals.

Minoxidil 5% solution with
or without intralesional injections of triamicinolone
acetinoide 2.5 mg/cc (maximum, 1 cc) can be ad-
ministered to AA of the eyebrows.

Side effects include transient atrophy and telan-
gectasia, which can be prevented by the use of smaller
volumes, minimizing the number of injections per
site, and avoiding too superficial (intraepidermal)
injections. Optional topical anesthetic can be applied
30 to 60 minutes before treatment to minimize pain
from the injections. This is particularly useful when
treating the pediatric population.

thanks guys
yea...its just a co-pay. They worked for me...but they HURT! And you have to get them once a month.
its a co-pay if you have medical insurance right? which i dont ...do you know how much out of pocket it wil be or do you have an idea? thanks a bunch!
I just got some today. My insurance is Kaiser and the visit costs $10. The shots work for about 4-5 weeks. If you miss an appointment and have to wait even a few more weeks the hair will start to fall out. For me it takes a long time for them to work, and after the snowstorms we have had in the DC area I missed two appointments and am down to little hair.
