Hi everyone! So I completly lost my right eyebrow over the  summer. I never lost my left eyebrow. So I decided to shave it off. I have continued shaving my eyebrow off and now my right eyebow is starting to grow back. But, it is blond. Does the hair usually change? Or could I have one dark brown eyebrow and one blond one???!!! -elena

Hi Elena,

It's reported by hair biology researchers that scalp hair in alopecia areata often returns with a different color or texture initially. So it makes sense that brow hairs might act the same say.

I had many instances of partial brows before I lost all the brow hairs. So I developed a technique for filling them in and then eventually learned to make full brows with highly pigmented brow powder which I seal over so they don't rub off during the day. With just a little practice you can get a brow on in about a minute.

my eyebrows have come in white, both of them and my eyelashes seem to be growin to and they're sort of white, i have a couple of dark hairs in my right brow, i still draw them on for now but i am hopin they change colour, as ive hear my hair will come in white until it changes, well hopefully,
And besides.....when you make your own brows you can have the arch and location you always wanted but never had with your bio brows. Advantage alopecia!

People, especially the men in your life, rarely notice much about brows unless they are very skinny and look drawn on with a very smooth defined edge. I know I notice those all the time....my eye just goes to it because it's not normal. Growing brows are irregularly edged, softened, textured even when neatly trimmed and shaped.

My husband actually asked me this weekend how I can make brows with powder. Never looks and never thought about it until I was talking about a new BGDL product I'm going to start testing. He's a great guy but 100% oblivious to everything I do at my make-up table....which is actually a good thing.

Keep the mystique girls! Life is good!

very true!! My boyfriend doesnt even notice if I have lashes on...but to me..it makes a HUGE difference! If they come in white, fully grown, cant you dye them? Just have to be very very careful not to get it in your eye.
Mine are coming in white similar to the pattern of my scalp.
HI Sandy,

I miss you!
About the brows, mostly white but the eyelashes are dark. Fuller on the left than the right.

Jeffrey
