After years of 'drawing' my eyebrows on with eyebrow pencil I had mine tattoo'd on. They look real. I am from NZ so am not sure about what is available around where you are. But I do know that you have to be careful about where you go...not a tattoo shop as they have no idea about 'cosmetic' tattoos. I goggled 'microdermabrasion' to get a specialist who deals with this as well as checking out her credentials.
I just bought eyebrows from Headcovers.com and they look fantastic. Warning though the blackish brown color is black. Pricey but it's worth it to me. Very natural looking. I feel more confident with actual brows (hair). I've worn them twice so far. I give it an A+ They do have eyebrows for men on the site. I ordered the ones pictured.
Get 2 pairs, one pair could double as a mustache! (just kidding) I'm just happy I don't have to pull out the stencil and draw in and powder eyebrows over my tattooed eyebrows anymore =:-) Although, that may not be a bad route for your son if he's artistic at all and can recreate feathery strokes to mimic hair. With the right powder applied over the pencil, it can add texture. The stencils save so much time and create an even brow on both sides.
