I just did the eyeline tattoo and  it's rather pale and does not eliminate the need to use the eyeliner ( which was my whole point behind getting a tattoo). Maybe my tattoo lady did not do it right, or maybe this needs to be done in iterations. In any case when she was doing it I would not have been able to continue that session, I was exhausted. But I thought the first pass would be move visible.

Anyone had it done? How many times did you have to go back? I have AU, so no eyelashes whatsoever..

Thank you!

Hi Ellen

I had this procedure in June.

The treatment is 2 sessions.

After the first session my eyelash enhancement was visible and the second session was just to go over it and add a little bit more definition. I have dark brown hair so that might make a difference and I have most of my eyelashes still.

I think if you have a second session you will be happier with the result. Your practitioner may well have just been adding colour very carefully to try and get a natural effect but if you go back I would ask to see photos of ladies with you skin colour and see what works to get a good effect. There is a real art to this tattooing and good practionrrs are hard to find. I use Belinda Hayle in Chetsey, Surreu UK. She is fantastic.
I had it done YEARS ago, had to go back several times! It didn't stay and part of my lower eyelids stayed white after the dye went away. I've never heard of anyone else having that problem tho!
