Hello Rajesh,
Please don't feel bad...I pray you get through this. It is very difficult. I myself have had this for over 10 years and Im a female...I try my best to hide it because I do not wish to live a bald woman. I would think its easier for a man but I can see that may not be true. Just take it one day at a time and remember that there is always someone else out there in worst situations than just losing hair (Ill try to remember that too) lol. Do you have anyone in the area that does permanent make up? Maybe you can get your eyebrows tattooed back on?....anyway I pray you are feeling better about things.
Rajesh,
Don't get upset. When my hair fell out I was 18 years old. I am now 20 and am completely fine with it. Yeah, I was upset at first being a young adult but from these past two years I have learned that hair does not matter. What matters is you. I have friends and not having hair makes me who I am. I wear a wig and apply fake eye lashes and eyebrows from headcovers.com . My brother has this disease as well. He is in law school and it also does not bother him. Yes, right now it seems like the end of the world but I promise it is not. People who judge you for not having hair are not you're friends. People who accept you for you are your friends! Good people look at the person from the inside, you need to surround yourself around happy people to be happy. Don't worry about what others think and know that you are important and there is only one you!
Aww Rajesh!!! I feel your pain. Im from India too and believe me I know what an appearance obsessed culture we live in. I lost my hair when I was 4 and lived through psychological warfare during school and uni. All I can say is stay strong. Believe that no matter what gets thrown at you, you have it in you to overcome anything. Allow yourself a moment to mourn the loss your hair, but then get on with life, there is soo much out there just waiting for you to give it a chance.
I know its not really a guy thing but talking about what you're going through with people who are actually physically around you will help.
You will get through this. Chin up buddy!!! :)
Hi Rajesh,
I got my eyebrows tattooed on 5yrs ago, I now live in Australia and thats where I got them done. They were semi-permanent and have started to fade, I am penciling them in now. I need to get them done permanently the next time.
I believe tattooing is the best solution for me because, if its was a humid day I could actually wipe the sweat off my brow without worrying about wiping my entire eyebrow off. The only thing to be really careful about is finding the right person to do the job, because you don't want to end up with a quizzical brow for life... :)
I don't use stick on eyebrows because I found that the thought of them falling off mid-day was too stressful for me. And I was always worried that they'd move out've place and i'd have a funny expression on my face without intending too.
Keep the faith - I'm sure your friends love you the way you are. You're more than your hair, it's not worth feeling broken about it. Good luck and best wishes!
Praying for your strength baby. You are beautiful and your have a bright future...don't give up on yourself. Things will work out in the end. Keep living; life is full of beautiful surprised...you gotta stick around to see them. Loving on you from afar!
Theresa
