I`m 38 years old and been diagnosed by my GP about 5/6 months ago....it`s getting worse and i`ve been looking at all options, but wondered if anyone had thought about doing this, or had done it?

We have discussed the issue of transplants before. At the CARF meeting in Nov 2013 in London most of the questions being posted here were answered by 3 derms that specialise in FFA. I went and took notes then posted. Please look back to Nov 2013.

Transplants are not suitable. If your FFA stops by having a hair transplant it can trigger it off again.

The next UK CARF London meeting is 14 Nov. I advise UK ladies to attend to get the latest info.
If you want a copy of the fact sheet I have typed up, with info from the CARF meeting last Nov and from advice my own derm, Dr Harries an FFA expert, has given then drop me an email debs-007@tiscali.co.uk and you can get up to speed. I advise you attend the CARF meeting in London 14 Nov.

Thanks Debs, that would be good to have a read of  i will email you right now,

Thank you
