Hi does anyone have any ideas how to make yourself look & feel more feminine? I don't know about anyone else but being bald has made me feel very unfeminine. I really want to lose the wig; for me it feels so unnatural, hot, and itchy.
Thank you

last year a I saw a woman who made my day...she was completely bald, but she was dressed very stylishly (classy stylish), big sunglasses, but it was her carriage/attitude that struck me the most..it was like, "this is who I am and I accept it"...if I could have said something to her, I would have. maybe part of the "new" look should be a new attitude about yourself and how you look. Personally, I'm not comfortable showing my head completely uncovered; I opt for hats that I know don't hide the baldness but are more comfortable for me to wear. People know I'm bald under the hat, but I don't care.
The first time I really contemplated what I would look like without hair, all I could see was an image of my older brother on a bad day, not feminine at all. But as I got used to my new look, I started to see the inherent femininity in my face. I agree that a great deal of feeling good about oneself, and feeling feminine is part of that, is projecting confidence. Someone should do a bald woman's makeover show though. I have almost never worn makeup, and I stopped wearing earrings about 10 years ago, but losing my hair has made me think about how I could remake my image. I have wondered about going bareheaded to a makeup counter and seeing what can be done, or about getting some dangling earrings that really make a statement. I have yet to do any of that though. I also want to learn how to tie beautiful scarves into fashionable head coverings. I definitely need help in the femininity department. The two things I have done are to embrace bright colors and to get some really cool sunglasses. :)
