Fortune wigs: hand tied vs. open cap

I'm in a bit of a dilemna.

I've heard great things about Fortune, but also the wefts can sometimes be seen with Fortune wigs. 

I'm living in Australia at the moment so an open cap woudl definitely be more comfortable for me, but I've also been told by the saleslady that they can only do open cap or hand tied, one or the other.

Hand tied you would be able to see the wefts. vs. open cap would be much more comfortable but the wefts can be seen.

Could anyone give me an opinion on how to get around this? Maybe get a thicker crown with an open cap?
