Full lace with thin skin?
Hi all, I'm new here.
i currently wear a 3/4 lace wig unit which I bond myself. I have sensitive skin and have to redo the bond once a week and honestly, all the taping is a nightmare. It often takes me several attempts to get it right (yes this is using adjust a bond - I still just find the tape rucks up and doesn't slide around so I really have to get it right first time).
I've used many kinds of tape, tried glue etc. The stress and upset is just getting to me. I've been doing this for a few years now and still, after 4 attempts this morning I just gave up and sat and cried.
I can't afford what I really want - a vaccuum wig - and I don't know what I'd wear in the meantime while I was waiting for a vacuum wig to be made, anyway, as currently I do have hair and if I shaved the little hair i have left I couldn't wear my 3/4 wigs.
So i'm thinking about a full lace wig with thin skin perimeter. I've seen people say that they wear these with little or no tape? How comfortable is that? I'd love to wear something like that with just a little tape at the temples and nape.
How easy are they to put on, etc? Does anyone buy them from london?
I also have a sheitel from fortune wigs which looks great but the cap is bulky and very feelable under my hair, and it rolls up at the back when I tilt my head back.
I want something comfortable, affordable, realistic, light and easy. Am i asking too much? And any help re: thin skin lace wigs would be great.

Ive been wearing a matt yeandle wig for the past year which i love no tape no glue stays hreat on my head although it is a lil big i got a stock unit because i didnt want to wait but it still changed my life and made my morning routine so easy! I love it although the hair to me sermed a bit like chinese virgin not european it was still great and i would recommend! It was 22" i think and it was 1500 i think a indian remy is cheaper u should contact him! The inside is all lace with a silktop lace front And a type of silicone for non slip around the sides

I know this is an old thread but maybe someone could help me. I am looking into full lace wigs. I see some of you like the thinskin around the perimeter. Is this the same as poly? And is the thinskin even in the front?

I am looking into the full lace with thin skin too. Now I wear a full hand knotted piece (lace) with a perimeter of PU with no tape. The piece was custom made by taking a mold from my head so it is a secure fit. This works for me and is pretty comfortable, the PU is an important contributor to the comfort level. It is smooth and sticks to my head until sweat or scalp oil accumulate. When this happens I am thankful I don't wear tape because I just remove it and clean the inside and my head with a damp cloth and it's like a new day:)
I've been looking into this wig company called Upscale Lace Wigs and they have decent prices. They make caps from homemade molds (see the You Tube video). The only problem is their virgin hair is limited with no European. I am really pale and the Asian hair I've been getting just does not look like it would have ever come from my head.
I'm looking for a wig maker that offers a similar service but with European hair. Or even a wig maker that will fill a pre-made cap with European hair. Any suggestions?
