Now that I finally know how to start a discussion, I have a question. DOES ANYONE ELSE HAVE TROUBLE PUTTING FAKE EYELASHES ON?! Sorry for the all-caps but I pretty much went through a whole tube of adhesive, most of which ended up in my eye, and I still can't get the things on. Is there some magical easy way that I have been completely missing????

And as a side note, hello everybody :D !!!

hahaha I think I saw that one. Thats where I got the idea to even try it out. I keep watching the video and each time I see it I'm like "Okay, I got this!" And each time ends in misery, but I'm happy the video helped somebody since it really is well made :)
Nope, I'm running into the same problem. I went through two packages of eyelashes before I could get one pair attached to my eye without my eyelid wearing glue instead of eyeshadow. I found that if you use glue that comes with an applicator, it's a little easier to apply. I also put a little of the glue on the eyelid itself if there's a spot that isnt sticking right. I think it just takes a lot of practice.

My biggest problem now is that I can't get the damn glue off the eyelashes when I remove them to be able to re-use them.
I'm not alone! Wow, I feel like I'm quoting something but I just can't think of it. Anyway, thanks for the idea because I'm at the point where any tips would be helpful- I'm definately not a make-up wizard.
And I hope you can find a solution to your big problem :O, if you find out anything let me know because I will probably run into the same thing.
Thank you so much!
Thanks! I'll try that out right away!
If you soak your eyelashes in AFTA cleaning solvent for five minutes (use the plastic lid to a small jar or vitamin bottle), you will be able to brush out the softened glue with an old toothbrush or eyebrow brush. Make sure the lashes are completely dryand odor free before you put them on.
I wear false eyelashes everyday! It takes quite a bit of practice but i've pretty much got it down to a science. Send me a msg with questions you have and i'l love to help ya out. I could send you a video of me applying mine if that would help, too :)
get the revlon eyelashes with glue on them already!!! or at ULTA they have some preglued ones already! its soooooooooo much easier and get the black glue from Sephora to rea wear but those other ones come with a second one it just takes practice i thought it was impossible but its better i put eyeliner first then eyelashes and i love the MAC black eyeliner for the inner rim stays all day !
I wear lashes every day. Some thoughts:

You need to use a good glue that has some elasticity, in order to be able to pull it off at the end of the day. I find that DUO is the best.

You need to bend the lash strip ahead of time, so that it is the shape of your eye lid.

Use a tooth pick to apply a THIN line of the glue. Wave the lash around for about 10 seconds-(use that time to bend it into a curve again)-then apply, starting at inner corner, anchor the middle section with your finger tip, and then CURVE the last third, while the finger still anchors the middle. This way you should be able to get the strip to lay close to your "natural" lash space.

Get a good magnifying mirror.

Make sure the strip is not too long. I use Ardell, and find that different styles are longer or shorter. If too long, cut off a bit at the end. It should be just long enough to just nicely tuck onto the last third of the eyelid.

Tapping down with a "rubber tip" of an eye liner pencil makes the hold more secure.
