Going out in public without covering patch?

I was wondering if anyone with AA goes out in public without covering the patch up? My patch is about 4cm by 10cm right on the top if my head and I can't cover it by creatively doing my hair... Getting a bit sick of wearing hats all the time but I'm worried about people's reactions... Has anyone had any experiences with this? Thanks.

Thanks heaps! :) I am currently talking to a lady who might be able to help me with a hair piece... I live in the country so it's hard to get my hands on stuff. Plus I'm new to all this so I don't know what's out there either! How much hair loss did u have before u shaved it all off?? I know the temptation to get rid of it all. I'm there at the moment but my hair loss is probably only 15% of my head just in a very obvious spot which is hard to cover! :)

Hair piece costs a fortune so not gonna go that way just yet. What scalp coloring products do people recommend??
