ITS FUNNY HOW PEOPLE CONTINUOUSLY MAKE FUN OF ME. I DONT THINK IT IS FUNNY THAT I AM BALD. I GUARANTEED YOU TODAY OR TOMORROW IF GIRL WAS TO LOOSE HER HAIR AND HAVE TO LIVE LIFE BALD THEY WOULDNT LAST A DAY. BUT BEING DIAGNOSED WITH ALOPECIA CHANGED A LOT OF THINGS ABOUT ME. I AM MORE RESPECTFUL ABOUT SOMEONE ELSES OPINIONS AND/OR DECISIONS.
I AM A STRONG PERSON AND I PLAN ON NOT GOING BACKWARDS BUT MOVING FOWARD IN LIFE IF I HAVE ALOPECIA FOREVER THEN TAKE ME AS I AM. HAIR ISNT EVERYTHING, ITS JUST AN OUTSIDE FEATURE. YOU HAVE TO GET TO KNOW SOMEONE FROM THE INSIDE OUT, EVERYONE HAS A THEIR OWN PROBLEMS SO WH YMAKE FUN OF IT.

You know.. when people talk like that about me I just absorb it and wring it out like a sponge.. why? Because it can happen to anyone and it is completely unpredictable.

Who knows, and I wish this on no one, but maybe one day she will get engaged and a few days/weeks before the wedding end up feeling what's is like to live with this shit.
The reason these people are mean is because they have massive insecurities about themselves and to make themselves feel better, they take it out on people like us. What does that make them? Cowards. What does it make us? Stronger!
Danielle, you are wise well beyond your years. Some folks are not very nice. You'll find that they aren't worth your time. You are absolutely correct...hair doesn't define who you are. True friends will come to know the person that you are and appreciate what truly defines a person.
