Hello! New here. I am not sure what I have (still looking into it) but I have been losing my hair for about 4 years. It's getting to the point where I need to do something because the depression is affecting me. Where I live there a few Evolve certified stylists. But I wanted some advice, reviews. etc.

Thanks much!

Hello, my name is Tammy.  I have always had very fine hair.  However, due to an autoimmune disease, I lost a large amount of my hair.  My hair loss caused me to become very depressed and I lost a lot of my self esteem.  I learned about the Evolve Volumizer through a co-worker who had seen an advertisement in the local newspaper.  I found a consultant in my area and scheduled a consultation.  The consultant was very informative and compassionate regarding my hair loss which is considerably more than I had received from my dermatologist or endocrinologist.  I have been wearing the Evolve Volumizer for almost 2 years now.  I cannot begin to explain how my new hair has changed my life.  I have more self confidence than ever.  I constantly get compliments on my hair.   I am now wearing my second volumizer.  I would strongly urge you to contact a consultant in your area to discuss and determine if the Evolve Volumizer  is right for you.  I was wearing wigs prior to purchasing the volumizer and there is no comparison to the comfort the Evolve Volumizer gives compared to wigs.  I will never go back!

Funny... I am going next Saturday to get a consultation for the system. I have some questions if you don't mind.
* would the system be ok for thinning hair? CTE triggered FPB for me, but not in the typical top and crown loss... I am diffusly thin.
* does the system feel like it is pulling/ tugging on your bio hair?
* has it worsened your hair loss?
* do you feel like you can adequately clean your scalp with the system in place?
* do you have to wash your hair less?
* is it undetectable when straight and sleek?
I would appreciate any additional info or photos. Thx!

The system does not pull or tug on your hair.  I was afraid of this as I do have migraines.  Once  it is installed, you cannot tell that it is not "your hair".  I had the wave volumizer and now I have the curly one.  Thus, I have no  experience with the straight or sleek style.  I do was my hair less (about every three days).  I have had absolutely no problems with my scalp.  I simply tilt my head back in the shower the water runs kind of under the volumizer.  It has not worsened my hair loss.  I do not wish to share photos but I had my volumizer cut and styled like "my hair" and no one knows unless I tell them.  I get a lot of "I wish I had that hair".   I just smile and thank everyone.  I hope this has helped.  There has to be enough hair in the top and crown to attach the volumizer to and it is not glued on bonded.
