I tried this the other night...after months of rogaine & latisse got very little results. Of course, I forgot to start at 5 minutes. I left it on for 20 minutes - the result - severe irritation of my skin - but more eyebrow growth overnight than I've seen in months.
I'd really like to know if anyone else has tried it.

Hi, I'm curious if you have any eyebrows at all (to begin with before you started the Dithro cream)?
I have no eyebrows and I've been getting cortisone shots for a year.
Hi,
I have been getting cortisone shots - 2 times - since the summer. I have also been using rogaine 5% twice a day & latisse at night. Before I started the cortisone shots, I had grown one long gray hair in the center over one eye & several black hairs all clustered at the outer edge of my eyebrow area. There hasn't been any improvement in my eyebrows in months, until I tried the dithro cream. Last night I put it on for 3 minutes. I think I'm going to go with 5 minutes tonight... There was no great irritation this morning.

I have not heard about dithro cream. Is this a prescription?
My dermatologist (Dr. Richard Strick of Los Angeles) said that the Latisse will not work for Alopecia patients. I have it, but I stopped using it.

So just to clarify about the dithro cream - how long have you been using it, and is it actually resulting in hair growth?

Heather

I think your dermatologist is right. Latisse has not worked & I'm not about to spend another $129 to try it again. The dithro cream(anthralin) HP 1.0% is a prescription.
I've been using it since last spring. You start by applying it for 5 min a night then every week increase it by 5 minutes until you reach 20 minutes. It irritates the scalp, and causes hair growth. It's slow, but steady.
I also use rogaine 5% twice a day.
The dithro cream stains, so use an old towel, gloves when applying it & an old pillowcase.
