Head tattoo?

Am wondering what people's thoughts are on head tattoos? I'm a 29 year old hairdresser who has been bald for 17 years and have wanted a tattoo on my head for about 10 of those years! Have you done it? Do you know others who have? Do you have pictures? Big tattoo? Little? Symetrical? On the tattoo pain scale, how painful are we talking? Is this tacky? I need advice and not alot (or any) people around me are bald...very unhelpful LOL :)

Today at the grocery store I was stopped by two women, who just so happened to see my tattoo over the collar of my jacket. They wanted a closer look and asked what prompt me to get one on the back of my neck. My answer was simple, "its symbolic, as a reminder to myself that Im more than my hair." I then told them I had alopecia. They were highly receptive and kind. They then went on to say that I must have thought them strange for stopping me, but I said if I wanted to hide the fact I wouldnt have put my tattoo in such a visual spot.

Getting a tat doesn't hurt that bad, it actually feels kind of good! It's removing it that hurts like a bitch, so just make sure you're going to like it—for life!
