Hey Sarah

I take mine off every day. I have slept in them but that was only when I went away for a bachelorette weekend and I didn't feel comfortable taking it off. I also noticed the white glue bubbles so I think it is from heat but as soon as you press down you can wipe it away so I don't think it is too bad. I have to be honest though, I think I do use more glue than I need to. One day I left my make up bag at work ( I know insane!) and I didn't have glue! So I had to put it on without any extra and it still stuck! When I got to work I went to reapply and I couldn't believe how well it stayed on with out adding more.

I noticed that I had some redness where the brow was being glued. It happened after a long day of sun bathing. I think the glue irritated the area a little but I haven't notice dit being a problem since.

Hi Ladies,

I actually don't remove them but keep the glue close by incase I need a touch up. I even wore them in the OCEAN!!! :) And they stayed on with the salt water. HOOT HOOT!

I too have the "white glue balls" that form and I think it's the heat. I think you really have to wait a good hour before going out in the heat or doing activity. I also think its because I put on a lot too... but like Jocelyn said, they stay on after a while with no glue!

PS: I tried MANY different glues (like DUO glue, glue for wigs) and honestly DON"T DO IT... It doesn't work in the end as well as Headcover glue and it was very hard to remove.

JOCELYN: amazing idea to put two on to make them thicker! I started to add "mascara" for real eyebrows to mine and they look "fuller" like that but not "longer". I like my #12.

SARAH: You really don't have to take them off when you shower or go to bed, as Jocelyn said, it is your comfort level. I keep them on and do hot yoga and run... and they don't move. I am just very careful when I wash my face or shower...

This is a very fascinating and informative thread- thanks so much to all of the posters for all the info on eyebrows.

About the DUO glue-I find the eyelash strip likes to pop loose in the corner, especially if I put them on in a hurry so I keep an extra tube in my purse and a small compact magnifying mirror and a couple of wooden toothpicks-for emergency repairs (in dimly lit washrooms-aargh!!)

speaking of eyelashes I just tried the eyelashes from Kiss that have the string on them for application (http://1.bp.blogspot.com/-4BPGq1xPhCc/Tf8j2sHqUEI/AAAAAAAABhQ/LIuW6...) They were awesome! A little dramatic but so easy to apply!

Hey Tam

I haven't doubled up (sorry) I still have my left real eyebrow so the woman who always waxed me put the left eyebrow on top of it as a stencil for plucking. However, we did discuss that it would be nice if the product had a little more hair. I use powder on mine because my eyebrows are naturally much darker than their darkest color and I fin that makes it look fuller too.

Hi Jocelyn,
I'm interested in buying these eyebrows from Headcovers after reading all these good reviews. I just have a few questions first, so I thought I would ask you because it seems like you know abit about them.

-When I place the glue and the eyebrow on, will that effect the new hair growth on my eyebrow ?

- Can I sleep in these eyebrows every night ? Or will I have to remove them before I go to bed ?

-When I go to the gym or somewhere and I sweat will that effect the glue holding my eyebrow, I'm just worried the glue would let go and the eyebrow would fall off or something.

- Can you shower in them ? And if Im walking in the rain somewhere will the glue be affected by any chance? Also can you swim in the ocean with them ?

- Also do you clean the eyebrows or something ?

Just some questions I would like to know before I actually bought them ! If you could try and answer these questions that would help me out so much (:

Hi Eriica,

I too hope to regrow my brows and doubt they will affect the growth but I am not 100% sure.
I sleep with mine every night and there is no issues at all!
I am a sweat-machine! I run marathons and do hot yoga and my brows stay with me.
I shower with them but when I dry my face I just pat it down. I am careful with washing my face too. I was in the ocean with them and they stayed on but that night I did have to re-apply some glue. They didn't fall off.
I take them off every week for a cleaning and then re-apply. I use the HEADCOVERS glue and think its the best. Read some of the posts above to know what we have saying about the glue.... sometimes it comes off as white bubbles but I think its because we are putting too much on and we are not waiting a good hour for it to dry before we venture out of the house :)

I can answer your first questions. When I started losing my eyebrow I lost it from the middle out. It looked like someone took an eraser and just left the outer edges. When I chose to wear the eyebrow I had the woman wax the hair that was left (not much) off. I figured if it wasn't going to fal out it would grow in and it did exactly that. The hair on the outer edges still grows in. have only gone back once to get my real eyebrow done since I started using these fake one but she did wax the hair that started growing back on the side I lost. I also didn't have a problem with applying the fake eyebrow when the hair started coming in and it did not pull on it.

Yous were a big help, thank-you so much !! I pretty sure now Im going to get a pair and try them out. The only thing I was really worried about was them falling of in gym class or while I was in school. So when it comes time to clean them what do you clean them with ? Also how do you know when its time to investe in a new pair when the ones you got get old ? So the glue or the eyebrow doesnt effect the hair going back underneath it? Im just wondering because I do have new growth of hair growing were I was wishing to place them. Sorry about more questions girls :)

I use their glue remover to clean them with a q-tip. I sometimes just use my finger nail too... sorta gross but whatever!
You can tell when you need a new pair: the brow itself looks thin. I bought an extra one as a back up when I went on vacation but so far I have been using the same one pair and have worn them in the ocean lots of times.
