Can anyone tell me the pros n cons of the square acid treatment

Hi, I have been using squaric acid for about 6 months. Prior to treatment I had more than 50% hair loss. It started working after about 6 weeks and as most started growing some new spots developed.  I upped the dosage and use it every other night and it seems to have stopped falling out.

It is really itchy but at least you know it is working when it is itchy. That is really the only con that i found. it costs about $80 for a month or two.
