Hi,
I bought a hair topper recently, my first one. It's real hair, European, colored
I wear it everyday, it seems that it after I wear it for 3 days it becomes weird looking. Photo attached.
The hair separates in tousles and tangles even if I brush it out really well it still looks like that within a short period of time. I wash it once per week with organic shampoo and keratin moisturizing conditioner. After I wash it, its nice and soft and fluffy no tousles or tangles. I brush it out with boar bristle brush and little bit of Jojoba oil every night.
Why does it still look like that after only 2-3 days?

Hi
I would discuss the issues you are having with the person/company that you bought it from.
Your topper sounds as if the hair is processed human hair. When human hair is over processed (which it often is in wigs and toppers), the hair becomes very difficult to manage. Even when you are using the shampoos that you are instructed to use.
Usually wigs and toppers that use processed human hair are reasonably priced and hope that is the case for you. Always remember if the hair in your wig or topper is processed you do run the risk of it becoming dry and unrealistic looking.
I'm just going to go off on my pet hate around processed hair.....why do they call it European it is so jolly misleading for the buyer. What does that even mean. Did the hair come from Europe can they prove that the hair is all fine and a certain micron (I doubt it)...just so misleading it makes my blood boil.
I hope you get this sorted for yourself.

I think you are right, it's over processed :(
Any way to fix it? Besides the obvious moisturizing shampoo, conditioner and leave in conditioner...?
