Hi Leanne
I know just the problem you mean about wigs feeling too big. It may be that the wig you have is too big for your head and you need a petite size, i'm sure there are people on here that can direct you to a good retailer. What i do as i seem to be somewhere between average and small is wear a headband around the wig, it smooths it down holds it in place and at christmas there are loads of sparkly festive ones about and they seem to be quite the fashion at the moment. Hope this advice helps a bit and enjoy the festive season.

Toppers, wide bandeau, long rectangulars self-tied or the popular scarf headbands:

There are hair replacement centers that sell "toppers". They make a replacement piece that clips or bonds to hair that you have, thinned out to match and blend with your natural hair. The trade-off is that the ones that look the most natural( rather than a little mop on top of your head) cost the most.

Another idea is to do the popular wide stretch bandeau..they come in all colors and widths from narrow to almost covering the entire top of the head . Look at this page for ideas on different wide stretch headbands. Scrunchi sells them as do most any accessories store. I've seen them in matte fabrics, sparkly..all kinds. I bet H& M will have some.

I've bought wonderful long rectangular scarves in the UK from the store chain called Tie Rack. Something with a metallic thread ( if you need dressy) can be over your head and tied off at the side or underneath at the back. They sell so many colors so something is sure to go with your outfit.

And Scarf World in the UK sells "scarf headbands"...they have very wide coverage and are very much in style.Good to over the top of a head or cover a wig that's gotten worn out just on top.
