How to flatten a wig

So I just bought this wig today, but it is too poofy at the top of my head, because I am not quite bald yet. I was just wondering how to de-poof it!

Hi

There would be a couple of factors that may be causing poofiness. Can you tell us what type of wig you have bought. Does it have perma tease? Is it a lace wig that is hand tied?? What type of hair is in the wig? Is it synthetic? Is it processed human hair? Is it 100% unprocessed virgin human hair??
