How to make the rest of hairs to fall AA
Dear All,
I know it may sound odd, but I am looking for a way to make the rest of my hair to fall as well. I have AA for 18 years and I am not expecting any remedy. So, just the patchy hair and the constant need of shave, imperfect shave, scars,...makes me think that actually alopecia totalis would be a better option than AA.

Thanks Aimee. That is what I am doing for the past 7-8 years. But the fact that it is patchy and it is there necessitates continuous shaving which is not fun and the shaving is not always perfect. Furthermore, there are time s where you can't shave and coming out that way is kind of ugly.

i have au, but i get regrowth. i do shave. do you go au natural or do you wear a wig? if you really hate shaving, you could do laser hair removal, but i think that might just add insult to injury. just a thought......

I'm looking to do the exact same.
After years of AA, then regrowth and loss again, I have now lost over 80% of my hair. I'm happy to shave it and go bald but then I am left with that map of the world look, which is more uncomfortable than keeping the wig.
Does anyone know how to get rid of the last bit of hair which now serves no purpose but to annoy me??
