Thought I'd say hi. My name is Denny, I've had alopecia for twenty years, but in the last three years, all of my hair fell out. I have other immune system related problems including diabetes and ulcerative colitis. My daughters (11 and 13) both have lupus and possibly sjogrens disease. Was wondering if others have similar history.

One of the things I wanted to share is that sometimes I have to use prednisone. When I do, my hair starts growing back, even my eye lashes. I can't use it all the time though because of my diabetes. I mean the hair really comes in full force. I even get a beard, which I haven't been able to grow in more than 10 years. Thought it might be helpful. Thanks for allowing me into the circle!
