Any advise to keep my wig from tangling? I shampoo and condition with salon quality products but even the first day after a wash it tangles up.

Hey Stephanie

I was told you have to use wig shampoo and conditioner even if it is human hair. I buy Brandywine non static shampoo and the brandywine revitalizing conditioner. I also bought their detangler which i Use before I comb it wet and style. I found it to be good and the wig doesn't get tangled. I buy it at Ricky's (beauty store you can find online or in NYC)

Hope that helps

Thanks, Jocelyn. I will look into those asap.
HI

It's important to understand what type of human hair is in your hairpiece. I would strongly suggest you contact the people that you purchased your hair from for their recommendations.

Not all human hair is the same - there seems to be a myriad of names for processed human hair with varying degrees of processing. Often this type of hair will become tangled and unmanageable when wet or washed.

If your hair is 100% unprocessed human hair it should react similarly to peoples growing bio hair and good quality shampoos would be the only requirements.

Hope this helps.

Eek! This is definitely human hair but it has been highlighted. I wonder if I ruined it. I've only washed it four times. Well, I'll make the call. Thanks.
