I feel like I'm lying!
So, I shaved it all off! Finally. Thanks to AA, my hair looks like Miley! Its actually pretty funny. :)
I did it before I was on vacation for a week to try and get used to the wig. I went in to work yesterday and I got SO MANY compliments. No one could tell it was a wig (or at least they didn't say anything if they knew). It was weird. I was so sure at least SOMEONE would know.
Its a drastic difference in how my hair has been in years. I've been keeping my hair shoulder length, and the wig is a cute little pixie cut.
I just don't feel right now. I feel like I'm lying to people. I don't know why I care though. :-/

I know how you feel. I work at a hair salon and people will always compliment my hair and I feel like its false advertising. My co-workers and may clients know I wear a wig, I often show up without it. I have decided I don't really owe anybody an explanation. Some people wear hair extensions, get fake tans, wear makeup, breast implants, chemical peels and a wig is no more deceiving than that. If someone says "You have gorgeous hair" I'll just say 'thank you' but if someone asks which stylist does my highlights or which product I use to get it so shiny I tell them it's not my hair. Very few people will ask after that.
People probably don't know it's a wig, people that know I wear a wig still come up to me and are amazed as to how realistic it is and I work in the hair industry.

It was your video that made me convinced that it was time to shave my head. I want to thank you for that. I feel so much better now. I knew I would, but sometimes one just needs a kick in the butt. :)
