I think this is the best kept secret for those of us with Alopecia Areata.  It sits on the top of my head, covers my bald spots, and gives me extra heaviness so my hair doesn't lift up in the wind.  I wore it at Xmas and my mother and sister didn't even notice!  I had to tell them I was wearing it.  They both thought my hair just looked extra thick and lovely.  The hair dresser cut it right into my current hair style.  It's super comfortable and looks incredibly natural.  If you don't yet need a full wig, this is a great stop gap. It's not cheap - I got it at Continental Hair in Toronto, Canada - but it's worth every penny to me.

I don't know the exact name of the product but if you contact Continental Hair in Toronto I'm sure they will try to help you find a supplier in the states.  Here's the website address with more information:  http://www.continentalhair.com/thinning_hair_replacement_toronto_on...

Good luck!
