I always say that no matter how bad you (I) have it, there is always someone dealing with worseDon't get me wrong,I did not post this video to show that there is someone with worse, but rather to show how someone going through tough times can have such a positive and strong attitude.
Check out this video. Do please take the time to watch the whole thing. Her attitude is inspiring
She has no hair like us, but her auto immune disease gives her far more to deal with.
Comment here on what you personally gained from watching this.
I gained a reminder that we are the product of our life experiences, good and bad.
Best to you all
Thanks for posting this Fiona....incredibly thought provoking.
It really did make me realize that attitude is everything
It sounds like she was dealt doubly bad luck with a troubled family and her condition, and I so admire her for pulling through and being able to embrace who she is. I found this video hard to watch because I couldn't just not notice her facial abnormalities and see her as beautiful, even as I wanted to. I think in some way it must be like getting used to my own bald head, where it took a while for me to see even myself as normal without my hair. Everyone should be able to face the world knowing in his or her heart that they are worthy and need make no apologies for things beyond their control.
