Hey everyone,

Im new on this site, and im happy to be here and read lots of your posts.

My Alopecia started back in Feb 2020. First only a few small which were easy to cover, but unfortunately it evolved into full on AU at the end of the year. The hairloss really accelerated between September and December, which is were it started attacking all my body and facial hair.

Whats weird about this is that after all thousands of lost hair, which all went in a really small timespan, theres ONE single hair on my leg which remained. And it has been like that since late December. Every other hair gone, this one hair stayed. And it has been staying for 3 months now, which rally isnt logical to me since at the rate of which the rest of my hair fell out, surely this one single hair shouldve also been dead.

I dont know what, or if I can conclude anything from this. To me, it seems like my AA is inactive, or at the very least heavily slowed down. The thing is, right now im not under any kind of treatment because I have kinda given up on that. Also have not changed my diet. The only I did change was stop smoking weed pretty much everyday. I dont think there's any correlation but it did stress me out a lot and even made me a little depressed at times. I was supposed to participate in Concert Pharmaceuticals' CTP 543 trial, but its start in Germany was postponed for 6 months.

Now since I am in the believe that my AA is kinda remissive, I really want to start other treatments i havent given a go yet (like steroid shots) as well as diets. Im not sure about AIP - I think I wouldnt be able to follow through with that. I just love tomatoes too much, lol. But ive read people had success with intermittent fasting, so I might try that (as well as vitamin d)

Im interested to hear your thoughts on this, if you have any.

Stay healthy!
